Exopack Advanced Coatings' lab coaters feature film, foil and paper capability and are designed for slot die, direct gravure, reverse gravure and proprietary coating methods. The USA Lab coaters have a standard roll face of 16-inches (12" UK) and can handle material thicknesses from .00025-inch to .020-inch.

Processing widths range from 6 to 15 inches(12" UK) and trials can be run using as little as one quart of liquid, which can provide substantial savings with specialized fluids such as liquid crystal, exotic filled ceramics and polyimides. Small scale production is also possible in the USA.

Pilot coating services make it possible to get products to market faster and at a lower cost by conducting evaluations on production equipment. Exopack Advanced Coatings' pilot coaters are designed for smooth and consistent scale-up to full production.
